- Remove loose bristles, dust, and dirt to insure best results. Simply knead the bristles;then twirl brush repidly against palm of hand and tap bristles across fingers. You'll find your brush will paint much better.
- To keep bristles flexible and to assure faster, smoother spreading of paint, always try to precondition a new brush by suspending it in linseedoil for at least 12 to 24 hours before use; brush will hold more paint.
- Any linseed oil which is not absorbed should be pressed out with a stick, screwdriver, or similar article-or by squeezing the bristles between two dowels. Next, dip into turpentine to remove any excess remaining.
